Verbal Reasoning Tests measure the test taker’s ability to extract relevant information from written sources and make objective judgments based on that information. They are intended to predict how well you’ll perform when working with reports, correspondence, instructions, and research information.

You will be presented with a short paragraph of text and then asked to identify whether a number of statements are true, false or you cannot say based on the information provided in the passage of text.

These are typically multiple choice questions with up to 5 possible answers for you to choose from.

They are timed – usually about 20 minutes long – and you will have around 30 questions to answer.
